Eastnor Castle prepares to welcome a new four legged Glasybont team member

Eastnor Castle lies in Herefordshire at the foot of the Malvern Hills on the edge of the Cotswolds
Surrounded by a beautiful deer park, arboretum, and lake, Eastnor Castle is the home of the Hervey-Bathurst family.

Besides being a fascinating and award-winning visitor attraction, Eastnor Castle fulfils other roles as an exclusive-use wedding venue, corporate team building venue and private party venue, as well as a venue for product launches and location filming.

Eastnor Castle was the wedding venue and the Roy family’s English stately home in Season 1 of HBO’s Succession.

We are thrilled that one of Glasybont Crimson Avenger (Tarka) lovely pups will be going to start her life with the management team at Eastnor Castle.

We have only positive things to say about our experience with glasybont gundogs from the start to now. The process started with a call with Zoe where she gave us information about her planned litters, joint scores, genetic tests and ethos. We were quickly able to meet the dam and sire for two potential litters last summer. It was clear how much Zoe loves her dogs and it was wonderful meeting such friendly dogs. After that Zoe kept us informed upon the birth of the litter providing pictures and milestone updates. All the dogs were very healthy and well looked after and we were able to meet up puppy at 6 weeks before picking up at 8 weeks (with some flexibility so that we could pick up on a weekend). Zoe handed off our puppy to us with a lot of information about the first weeks, the first round of vaccinations and has been there when we needed help. We had a few problems with crate training at the beginning and Zoe was there at the end of the phone when we needed her. We have had a brilliant experience with our puppy, the integration into the home has been easy, he has a wonderful gentle temperament, loves to have fun and is easy to train. We credit Zoe with producing some incredible Labradors for family homes and can only thank her for the joy that she has brought to our lives.

We put our name down for a puppy in October 2020 and collected our new puppy in September 2021. Communication was great and any questions or concerns were answered very quickly whilst Percy was settling into the house and was being crate trained. All in we are very happy and love little Percy

I can't recommend Zoe at Glasybont Gundogs enough. After researching for a new Labrador nearly a year ago and wanting to make sure that we got a dog with the right temperament and character for our liking, Glasybont just looked like the perfect choice. The temperament of the puppies is perfect for us. Placid and calm ( At times 🙂 ) with a generous splash of mischievous character.

We collected Buddy, our first family dog, in 2018. Buddy is amazing and we simply could not now imagine l Cf Tc ife without him. He is so caring and loving with the children, and it was a joy (and it was straightforward) to train him. People often stop us on our long walks and say what a beautiful, and immaculately behaved, dog he is. The service, professionalism, knowledge and advice we received from Richard and his family was exemplar. If you’re looking to make a Labrador part of your family, you simply wouldn’t go anywhere else.

My Wife and I were invited to visit Zoe and Richard from Glasybont Gundogs as we wanted a Labrador Retriever and were told through a friend we needed to speak to both Zoe and Richard before anybody else. On meeting them both we were welcomed into their home to meet their dogs and instantly you could see why they were highly recommended, their dogs were extremely well trained with excellent temperament and their knowledge and experience from training gun dogs made it much easier for us. Richard showed us his training which was well, more then impressive and Zoe was nothing but supportive throughout the whole process with her incredible knowledge. Our Labrador Merlin is now over a year old and he is nothing but wonderful and with the training tips from both Zoe and Richard we have an extremely behaved and intelligence Labrador Retriever and for me looking back it was the best decision to put our trust in Glastbont Gundogs, Thank you both.

Met Zoe and visited in early 2020. Really professional service and communication from the outset to collection of beautiful puppy. So delighted with all the help and support Zoe provided.

After visiting a few other breeders we came across Zoe @ Glasybont Gundogs and from the outset it was clear that she deeply cares for her dogs. We were invited around to meet her dogs so we could see the size and temperament of her dogs and ask any questions.
Once there was a pup for us we were added to a WhatsApp group where Zoe posted photos of the pups as they grew every few days or so.
Zoe was friendly and polite and answered all are questions through out the process.
We now have are little puppy Milo at home with us and he is a bright little bundle of joy that loves cuddles with the kids and chasing little toes.

Many thanks Zoe. If we ever decide to get a little brother or sister for Milo Glasybont Gundogs will be are first call.

Richard and Zoe were great when we were looking for our family dog, after much research we found Glasybont gundogs and after meeting them at there home and seeing their dogs it was clear to see the dedication and true passion for what they do.
They were helpful and knowledgeable and made everything very easy.

I’ve known Richard and Zoe for some 10years.

I am a professional trainer and breeder, that’s where I first met Richard during training.

I have trained and shot regularly over Richards dogs. They are great family dogs as well as the great Gundogs. Health tested and top sire’s always selected for their girls. To further their breed lines.

A lovely family home with fantastic family bred Gundogs.

After seeing the dogs working it was apparent that a lot of care and attention goes in to each and every dog in training. Very professional and quick to give any advice when asked definitely a plus when new to the sport
