Metropolitan Police Breeding program
Dog Support Unit (DSU) | Metropolitan Police
We were approached in late spring of 2024 by the breeding manager at the Metropolitan Police dog support unit to enquire if we would help them with improving the breeding lines they utilize. The labrador is a multi disciplinary tool for police use and can be certified for search work for human and non human targets such as cash, drugs and explosives.
Glasybont (Glasybont Fromes Fancy) joined the unit in summer 2024 and will spend the first 6-12 months with an experienced handler to start her journey and be used in breeding the next generations of dogs used by the largest police force in the UK.
